I roasted vertical gardening as a gimmick until I tried it on my own 8x10 deck

For 2 years I said those tower planters were a waste of space for small yards, but after putting one up last June I grew 40 pounds of tomatoes in a 3 foot circle. Anyone else eat their words on a plant trend they swore was just for Instagram?

Saved me from tripping over pots every time I opened my deck door.

Wow, I actually gotta disagree with you there. Having pots right by the door kept me from forgetting to water them for weeks. Sometimes a little clutter is just a reminder to actually use the stuff you bought.

Tell me about it. I rearranged my whole deck just so I could get to the grill without doing an obstacle course. My wife says I'm the only person who needs a pathfinder just to walk outside.
