Last Monday my split-leaf philodendron finally put out a new leaf after 3 months of nothing
I had almost given up on it, figured I was overwatering or something (which I am guilty of, honestly). Then I moved it to a north-facing window and watered it exactly 1 cup every 5 days, and boom, there it was. Has anyone else had a plant suddenly perk up after you changed just one tiny thing like location or watering schedule?

Right? Same with my pothos... moved it to a darker spot and it went nuts.

Oh man, same thing happened with my snake plant last year! I was about to toss it when I moved it from my bright kitchen to a corner that barely gets any light and suddenly it started putting out pups like crazy. Sometimes these plants just want you to stop helicopter parenting them, I swear lol.

Hmm, I think it was probably the move that stressed it out, not the low light.
