Serious question, did anyone else's peace lily completely give up after repotting?

Mine went from lush to half-dead leaves in under a week, and I'm sure it's because I used that cheap potting mix from the hardware store. What brand of soil actually works for you?

Check if your new pot has a drainage hole, sometimes the container itself is the problem.

Could it be the soil pH, like fiona_west21 hinted about depth?

Yeah I was reading something the other day about how too-deep planting can mess with the airflow around the roots (apparently they need air just as much as water). Might be worth checking how deep the root ball sits in the new pot compared to the old one. A lot of common potting mixes are fine as long as the plant isn't buried too low.

Read somewhere they really hate being repotted too deep, maybe that's it. I just use regular indoor potting mix and it's been fine.
