Update: The 'low light' plant I bought is now etiolated and leggy.

Followed the care tag and it still got all stretched out.

Consider those care tags more like gentle suggestions than actual rules. I mean, 'low light' apparently means 'cave conditions' to some plant companies. Idk, maybe it's just me but my plants always end up looking like they're reaching for the exit.

Ha, "cave conditions" is such a mood! But low light plants still need some indirect brightness. If they're reaching, they're probably not getting enough of it.

I mean, if reaching is the issue, my plants are practically staging a prison break at this point.

How do you even manage to keep them contained when they're that determined? I've had plants do the same thing, and it's a constant battle. They'll lean so far towards the light that they practically topple over. It really shows how misleading those low light labels can be. You end up having to rotate them daily just to keep them somewhat upright. Solidarity, because it's a universal struggle for indoor gardeners.
