PSA: I threw $500 into a hydroponic tower kit last spring

Bought a six-foot vertical tower with built-in lights and pumps because I wanted fresh lettuce all winter. After three months of fighting with clogged nozzles, algae in the reservoir, and stunted plants, I gave up and went back to buying heads at the store. Has anyone else dumped money into a home gadget that just did not deliver?

Gasped when I read you fought with it for three full months before giving up. I would have rage-quit after week two when the nozzles started clogging and tossed the whole thing in the garage. Mad respect for your patience but also sorry you lost that much cash on it.

Oh man, you're close but it was actually just one nozzle that kept clogging. Still drove me nuts though.
