The 3 week battle to fix my AC drain line in Phoenix

My AC unit kept shutting off at 2 PM every day, and I figured it was the filter or freon, so I replaced both and nothing helped. Turns out the condensation drain line had a slow algae plug about 4 feet down, took me 3 separate afternoons with a shop vac and some bleach to finally clear it. Has anyone else had a hidden drainage issue that made you question your whole troubleshooting list?
