Walked through a Whole Foods in Austin and realized half the store is just overpriced snacks

I was grabbing lunch near the Domain last Tuesday and decided to check out the hot bar. Everything was like $12 a pound for basic quinoa and roasted veggies. But what got me is the aisles of $8 granola bars and $10 bags of kale chips. It feels like they're selling a lifestyle more than actual groceries. Anyone else feel tricked by the hype?

My sister bought a bag of their "truffle salt popcorn" once and acted like it was a personality trait. It was just salty popcorn.
