Blew $400 on a laser level the guy at the supply house swore by, should've stuck with my 4 foot level

Used it on a garage job in Dayton and the thing drifted out of calibration halfway through the second course, so I was laying to a bad line all morning. Anybody got a brand that actually holds up or am I better off just going back to string and a level?
