Had a big mortar mix fail on a Denver job last month

I was laying brick for a garden wall and the batch of mortar was way too wet. It started sagging and sliding out of the joints after about 20 minutes. I had to stop, scrape it all off, and remix the whole thing with more sand and cement. It set me back almost two hours on the schedule. I think the helper added an extra gallon of water by mistake. What's your go-to fix when a mix is wrong on site?

My buddy once got stuck for hours, Linda114, and it was a total nightmare.

mark, that sounds exactly like what happened to me... "total nightmare" is putting it lightly. I got stuck in an old washing machine at a laundromat for almost two hours once, had to have the fire department come and cut me out. @jessica130, you're right, you never think it's that bad until you're literally trapped and can't move your arms...

Yeah, I used to think it wasn't that bad.
