Just counted 500 bricks laid this week and my back feels it

I hit 500 bricks laid this week on a garden wall job in Cleveland. Didnt realize I was moving that fast until I counted. My lower back is screaming tonight but the wall looks solid. Anyone else ever surprise themselves with a weekly count like that?

500 bricks in a week is solid work, but your back will remind you about it for a few days.

Read some guy on Reddit say he hit 700 and couldn't move for two days.

Honestly I used to hear those stories and think people were just being dramatic. But after watching a buddy of mine try to lay down 400 in a day last summer I totally get it now. @quinna89 is right, that kind of volume catches up with you hard. Ngl I'd rather climb a tree all day than spend two days laid up from brick work.
