Overpaid for a trowel that chipped after two weeks
Spent $80 on a fancy German trowel from a supplier in Chicago because I thought it'd last forever... but the edge chipped on the third job with hard clay bricks. The cheap $20 one I had before held up way better on the same stuff. Anyone else run into brand-name tools failing faster than the basics?

$80 for a trowel and you're shocked it chipped?

Isn't that always the way, pay more and get less? @spencer782 sounds like you got the same bad luck with that Bosch drill.
