Question about using a laser level for every single course. I think it slows you down more than it helps.

Huh... interesting take. So you're saying the time spent checking and adjusting outweighs the benefit of a perfect line every time? I've always figured it was a trade-off... speed for accuracy. But maybe on a long, simple wall it just gets in the way. What kind of work are you doing where you found it slowed you down?

Yeah, the trade-off thing is exactly it. On a long run of outlets or lights, stopping to tweak the laser every few feet just kills your flow. I found it faster to snap a solid chalk line and trust my eye for the little adjustments.

Read a pro saying the same thing, wadew51, that lasers can overcomplicate basic layout.
