Shoutout to the contractor in Phoenix who told me 'a good bricklayer never blames his level'
Heard that line on a job last month and it stuck with me, making me double-check my setup before pointing fingers at a tool.

Love that saying. Makes you own your work for sure.

Honestly that reminds me of my old foreman who'd say a bent nail is just a lazy carpenter. Tbh it's the same idea, your gear is only as good as the person using it. Makes you stop and actually look at what you're doing.

Hey @the_diana, you ever notice how that works with driving too? I've seen guys with brand new rigs who can't back into a dock to save their life, and old timers with beat-up trucks who slide it in perfect on the first try. It's all in the hands, not the hardware. Makes me check my mirrors twice every single time.
