That perfect October week in Cleveland that made me question everything

Back in 2019 I had a week where every single wall I laid came out dead level on the first go. No shims, no tapping bricks back out, nothing. I was working on a fireplace surround for a guy in Shaker Heights and the owner actually asked why I was smiling so much. Then Friday hit and I cracked a $400 custom arch brick because I set it too fast. Has anyone else had a week so good it felt like a setup for something bad?
