TIL the 'family pack' of chicken at my Kroger is 40 cents more per pound than the regular one
I was at the Kroger on Highland Ave in Cincinnati last Tuesday doing my usual run and I grabbed the big family pack of drumsticks without looking because I always figured bigger = cheaper. Something made me flip both labels over and the family pack was $2.49 a pound while the regular pack was $2.09. I stood there in the aisle doing the math on my phone and it works out to like $3 more per package for the same food. I checked the ground beef and the pork chops too and the same thing was going on. Has anyone else noticed this at their store or is it just mine?
