Booked my flight on a Tuesday at 2am and saved $143 to Denver

I was messing around on Google Flights and noticed the same route to Denver was $143 cheaper when I searched late at night on a Tuesday versus a Sunday afternoon. I know it sounds like a myth but I pulled the trigger and the fare held for 24 hours so I could sleep on it. Is this a real pattern or did I just get lucky with the fare bucket resetting?
