That travel rewards card I signed up for cost me $95 in annual fees before I even booked a flight

Signed up for one of those airline cards thinking I'd save on luggage fees, but the $95 annual fee hit before I even used the mile bonus. Anyone else get burned by a rewards card they barely used?

lol that's hilarious. my friend jenna totally did the same thing with a city sightseeing pass she bought for a trip to chicago. she was all hyped about it the month before, talking about how much money she'd save, and then we got there and she left it in her hotel room the entire 4 days. i even reminded her like twice but she was just too scatterbrained to remember. we ended up walking everywhere and she was so mad at herself later. i think some people just get way too excited about the deals and then forget they even have them.
