Changed my mind about generic pantry organizers after grabbing a $12 bamboo set at Target

I used to think those cheap acrylic bins were fine for my kitchen cabinets, but after three months the corners started cracking and things got messy again. Picked up a two pack of bamboo ones from the Threshold line for $24 total last week and they feel way sturdier already. Has anyone else found that spending a little more on organizers actually saves you from rebuying them every year?

Oh man, tbh I went through the same thing with those flimsy plastic bins cracking after a few months. I ended up dropping a little extra on some solid wood dividers for my tool drawers and they've held up way better than anything cheap ever did. For me, paying a bit more upfront meant not having to replace them every year, so it was totally worth it.

Yeah @the_lisa, i did the exact same thing. Spent a few extra bucks on some heavy duty canvas organizers and they're still going strong like three years later. That whole "buy cheap, buy twice" thing really is true when it comes to this stuff.

I feel you on the plastic bins cracking, that's definitely annoying... but honestly I've had good luck with the cheap stuff if you pick the right kind. I got some basic fabric cube bins from a discount store like five years ago and they're still fine, no rips or anything. Maybe it depends what you're storing and how heavy it is? I dunno, sometimes spending more just means you're paying for the name, not better quality.
