Found a 50lb bag of rice at the Asian market for $27

Wait, is that a good deal? I honestly have no idea what rice prices are supposed to be lol. That bag would probably last me like a year and a half though. Last time I bought a big bag of rice I forgot about it in the pantry and found it months later with little bugs in it. Had to throw the whole thing out and felt so dumb.

Freezing works but then @hall.joel you gotta remember to thaw it right or it gets mushy.

That's 54 cents a pound which is a solid price these days... put the bag in the freezer for 48 hours when you bring it home, kills any bug eggs before they can hatch.
