I switched from buying coffee out to a $15 insulated mug and a bag of grounds at home about six months ago.
That simple swap saves me roughly $60 a week, which I now automatically transfer to my car repair fund every Friday.

That automatic transfer is such a smart move. I did the same thing with a travel mug and it's crazy how fast the savings add up, feels like free money.

My buddy did the same thing with his lunch money, just a small weekly transfer. He ended up with enough to fix his bike without even noticing the cash was gone. It's wild how those tiny habits build up.

Feels like free money" exactly, @luna_wright. My buddy Marcus set up a tiny auto transfer after he saw me with my dumb mug collection. He was like, "it's just pocket change." Six months later he had enough to buy a used kayak, no joke. He didn't even check the account until he got a random notification about a bonus from the bank. It's almost like tricking yourself into being responsible.
