My $14 meal prep container outlasted my $140 Instant Pot by a mile

Bought a fancy pressure cooker in March and it gave up after 8 uses, but the dollar store glass containers I grabbed on a whim in Akron are still going strong after 90+ meals. The seals never leaked, not once. I basically meal prepped my way through a whole quarter with zero issues. Anybody else have cheap gear that just refuses to quit while the pricey stuff falls apart?

Eight uses, man, that's barely enough time to burn your hand on the steam vent twice. Maybe the Instant Pot just wanted to retire early to go live out its golden years on a shelf with the other fancy gadgets that never get touched.
