Overheard a neighbor say she saved $300 by switching her car insurance

I was walking my dog yesterday and two people were talking on their porch. One said she called around for new car insurance quotes and saved over $300 a year for the same coverage. I realized I haven't checked my own rate in about four years. I just set a reminder to do it this weekend. Has anyone else found big savings by shopping their insurance recently?

Nice, that's solid. I mean, what worked for me was checking my bank app for those small auto-payments. I found a streaming service I forgot about and a gym membership I never use. Cutting those out added up to like forty bucks a month without me even feeling it. Maybe try that?
