That awkward moment when my grocery budget blew up because I forgot my reusable bags
I was at the Aldi in St. Louis last Tuesday and realized I left my bags in the car. Ended up paying $1.20 for paper bags and felt like I'd failed my whole system. Anyone else have a cheap little mistake that threw off their weekly budget?

Forgot my bags at the Aldi in maplewood once and walked out with a stack of cardboard boxes like a raccoon. @piper779 I feel your pain, the trunk is a black hole for good intentions. Guess my budget just needed a little reminder that I'm not as put together as I pretend to be.

Paid $1.80 for bags at Trader Joe's last week because I was in too much of a hurry to check the trunk. Guess that's my punishment for thinking I was too organized to need reminders.
