That gas station coffee habit I broke saved me $40 a month

I stopped at that Shell station on 5th street every morning for a large coffee and a breakfast sandwich. It was $5.75 total and I did it for like 2 years straight without thinking. Finally looked at my bank statements last month and realized that was almost $175 a month just on morning convenience. Now I make a big thermos of coffee at home and grab a banana from the produce stand down the block. Plus I got a little jar where I drop the cash I would have spent and it's got $38 in there already. Anyone else have a daily habit that quietly drained their wallet for way too long?

Those breakfast sandwiches add up faster than people realize.

Is that what gets people most though?

It's the same way with so many little habits people don't track. You grab a coffee here, a snack there, and before you know it, your wallet feels a lot lighter without you really noticing. It's like death by a thousand small cuts to your budget.
