The $18 auto-renew subscription I forgot for 14 months

I signed up for a cloud backup trial back in March 2023 and never canceled it, that's $252 gone down the drain by the time I caught it on my bank statement last week. The worst part is the service barely worked, I only used it twice for old photos I could've kept on a flash drive. Has anyone else gotten burned by a small recurring charge they overlooked, and what do you use now to track these things?

Man, that stings, right? One thing that helps me is turning on bank alerts for any charge under $20 so I catch these sneaky ones right away instead of finding them months later.
