TIL that tiny coffee shop saved me $200 a month

I stopped at this little cafe called The Daily Grind in Denver last month and noticed they had a rewards app that gives you a free cup after 5 purchases. I was spending like $6 a day at Starbucks before, which was killing my budget. That one visit made me realize I could cut my coffee spending by making it at home most days and only treating myself once a week with the app. I switched to brewing my own pour-over at home and now I'm down to about $30 a month total. Has anyone else found a small change like this that made a bigger difference than you expected?

$6 a day at Starbucks sounds like a whole separate car payment honestly... but hey, at least the barista knew your name.

Six dollars for coffee, I nearly dropped my phone reading that.
