Update: I was looking through my old bank statements from 2018 and found a wild number

I used to spend over $80 a month on coffee shop lattes without even noticing. Found the total when I was cleaning out my old files last weekend. It's crazy how those small daily buys added up so fast. Anyone else get shocked by an old spending habit they forgot about?

Yikes, that's a wake-up call. I started tracking every single purchase in a notes app for a month, and it was brutal but so helpful. Makes you really think twice before swiping.

Ugh, my notes app is basically a crime scene.

I used to roll my eyes at people who tracked every coffee. My old truck had a broken radio, so I'd hit the drive-thru every morning just for something to do. When I finally added it up, I was dropping like sixty bucks a week on bad coffee and a muffin. Totally changed how I see those small routines now.
