Watched a guy drop $340 at the Kroger checkout on Super Bowl Sunday and it fixed my whole grocery plan
Two weeks ago I was behind a guy at the Kroger on Poplar in Memphis and he hit $340 for one cart. He had three kinds of chips, two party platters, and a bunch of stuff he clearly grabbed last minute. I checked my own receipt later and I had been doing the same thing every weekend without noticing. Now I shop on Tuesday nights with a list and a $90 cap, and I've kept it under that for three weeks straight. Has anyone else had a checkout moment like this that made them change how they shop?
