Appreciation post: The index I ignored for 2 years finally clicked
I always thought the future log was a waste of space until I had 3 appointments scheduled for September in July and couldn't keep track of them. Now I use it for every month and it saves me from double booking myself constantly. Anyone else skip the index setup at first and later realize they needed it?

My first attempt at future logging was three months of "dentist, dentist, dentist" because I kept forgetting I already wrote it down. Now I keep my index super simple - just months and a tiny brain icon for random thoughts that don't fit anywhere else. Your mileage may vary, but I still color code with one highlighter and pray it works.

Did you ever try the "just one color and hope" method on purpose, or did you fall into that rainbow trap like the rest of us? I swear my highlighter collection is a graveyard of good intentions.
