Can we talk about that week in March when my whole bujo system fell apart?

I was using a pretty basic monthly layout and rapid logging for tasks, and it worked fine until I had 3 doctor appointments, a work deadline, and a family dinner all in the same week. I missed two things because they got buried in my daily log and I didn't transfer them right. Has anyone else had a week where your setup just completely failed you?

Caught a Ryder Carroll interview once where he said pretty much the same thing. @wadew51's point stands though, the system only works if you actually work it.

Wait, you're mad at your system for missing stuff when you had three appointments and a deadline all in one week? Sounds like the system did exactly what it was supposed to do, it showed you what you were juggling. The real problem is you didn't transfer your tasks right, not the layout you picked. March is chaos for everyone, and if you can't handle a little extra tracking for one busy week, maybe you're asking too much from a notebook. Your bujo didn't fail you, you just didn't use it the way it's meant to work.
