Dropped $42 on a fountain pen for my bujo and I still can't decide if it was worth it
One side says a good pen makes you actually want to open the journal every day and my lines do look way cleaner. Other side says my $3 gel pens from the grocery store did the same job for two years before I got fancy. Where do you all land on spending real cash on supplies versus just grabbing whatever's cheap?
Cheap pens got you through two years, so acting like they can't cut it now feels wrong. The real thing your $42 buys is a nicer feel while you write, not some magic that makes you journal more. If that feel keeps you showing up, fine, but don't tell yourself the grocery pens stopped working.
