Filled out a whole monthly spread on my commute last week and it was a mess

Tried to do my October layout on the L train between stops and ended up with ink smears and crooked boxes everywhere. Has anyone else had luck bullet journaling on public transit or should I just stick to my desk?

Oh come on, a messy layout is just part of the charm! Isn't half the fun watching how your lines wobble with the train? I say keep at it, the smears tell a story.

Used to sketch on the train every day and my notebook looked like a disaster zone. Someone once told me the smears made it look like an old pirate map. Kinda made me proud of the mess.
