Hit 365 days straight and now I dont know what to track next

I finally reached a full year of daily logging with zero missed days, which felt huge, but now the habit is so automatic that the collection feels pointless. Am I crazy for thinking about dropping the daily log entirely, or should I stick with it just for the streak?

Ugh, I totally get this! I heard someone on a podcast say that once a habit becomes automatic, tracking it is basically just feeding your brain a fake sense of control. The streak stops being about the thing you're logging and turns into just a number, which is honestly kinda hollow after a while. Dropping it isn't quitting, it's just freeing up that mental space for something that actually challenges you. Maybe switch to a weekly reflection or track something new, like reading or stretching, so you still get the satisfaction without the pressure. If the daily log feels pointless, trust that feeling, it's your brain telling you you've graduated from it.
