Just realized my monthly logs were way too detailed
I used to cram every tiny task and random thought into my monthly log, like 30-40 lines a month, until last August when I noticed I never looked back at half of it. Now I limit myself to 3-5 key events and deadlines per month, and I use a separate weekly spread for the daily stuff. Has anyone else found that cutting back on monthly logging actually made their system work better?

Dropped mine to 5 lines max and never looked back.

Oh man, I feel this so hard. I used to write these massive paragraphs (like legit walls of text) and wonder why nobody read them. Once I cut to 5 lines max, people actually started replying to my emails. It's embarrassing how long it took me to figure out, you know? Now I have this rule where if I can't fit it in 5 lines, I probably shouldn't be sending it. My boss thought I was slacking at first, but then she saw my response rates go up.
