My 2021 bullet journal is basically a time capsule of lockdown stress

I found it in a box last week, and every page from March to June is just frantic daily logs and mood trackers with notes like 'day 12, still no bread flour'. It's a weird mix of useful planning and pure anxiety scribbles, which made me realize how much my bujo reflects my headspace at the time. Do you guys ever look back at old journals and feel that disconnect?

My 2019 planner is the opposite, just a boring list of oil changes and dentist appointments. I actually miss that kind of normal stress. Looking back at those lockdown pages, I'd rather see that real panic on paper than a blank spot where my memory just gives up. It's proof you were paying attention when everything was falling apart. Those frantic scribbles are more honest than any perfect weekly spread.

Mine's full of weird grocery lists from that time. Half the items are crossed out cause the store was empty. It's like a map of what we lost each week.

My grocery list just said "vibes" for three weeks straight.
