The day I discovered how to stop my fountain pen from bleeding through my bujo pages

I had been fighting with ghosting and bleed-through for months using a Leuchtturm1917. Tried different inks, lighter pressure, nothing worked. Then last Tuesday I grabbed a random Midori notebook from a shop in Portland on a whim. Turns out the paper weight was the problem the whole time. Has anyone else found an unexpected notebook that fixed a weird issue?

Wait, you just grabbed a random notebook from a shop in Portland on a whim and it fixed everything? That is wild to me. I have been messing with Rhodia and Clairefontaine for what feels like forever and still get some bleed-through with heavy inks. Honestly I think the whole "notebook brand is the solution" thing is a bit overblown sometimes but your story makes me wonder. How much did that Midori run you at the shop? I might have to take a look at one next time I see it. I am not big on spending a ton but if it actually stops the ghosting I am in.

@jamie940 wait $18 for a Midori is crazy cheap I paid like $30 for mine at a random gift shop in Portland last summer.
