Took me 3 hours to set up a proper habit tracker layout

I spent an entire evening trying to design a habit tracker that actually worked for my weekly spreads, and it took three hours before I realized I was overcomplicating it. Has anyone else spent way too long fiddling with a layout that should have been simple?

Gotta say I felt this in my bones. I spent like two hours last week tweaking the margin sizes on a weekly spread because the pen I was using was slightly thicker than the one I tested with. Idk why we do this to ourselves but something about the process is just oddly satisfying even when it takes forever.

Three hours is honestly kind of impressive honestly, I spent four and a half hours once trying to get a weekly habit tracker to line up perfectly with my washi tape borders and then immediately abandoned it after two days. @reed.elliot your margin story is giving me flashbacks to when I realized my favorite fine liner bled through the paper and had to start the whole tracker over from scratch. I mean maybe it's just me but there's something kind of hilarious about spending all that time on something that boils down to checkboxes and a ruler. At least we're not alone in our madness I guess.
