Unpopular opinion: I skip fancy goal pages and just use my daily log

I used to draw elaborate charts for my goals, but it took FOREVER. Now, I write one small goal in my daily entries. It helps me stay on track without feeling overwhelmed. This simple change made my bullet journal WAY more useful.

Actually, I found that writing just one goal sometimes let me AVOID the harder tasks. Now I put three tiny bullets in my daily log: one for work, one for home, and one for myself. That structure FORCES me to look at all parts of my day. It's still simple, but it keeps me from only doing the easy stuff. My old one goal method was letting my personal care slide every single time.

Oh man, that's a really good point. I was all about the single daily goal thing, but you're right, it lets you skip the stuff you don't want to do. Three small bullets sounds way more balanced.

My old neighbor had a bullet journal system so complex it needed its own index page. She spent Tuesday nights color coding her "mindful dishwashing" tracker while her actual dishes moldered in the sink. I swear some people design these methods just to have a reason to use their nice pens. You start trying to organize your life and end up just organizing your organization method. It's like building a really beautiful, detailed shelf to hold all the other shelves you plan to build.
