Unpopular opinion: I thought a $40 fountain pen was a silly splurge for bullet journaling
After my wife gifted me one last Christmas, the smooth ink flow actually made my daily logging feel less like a chore. Has anyone else found a specific tool that unexpectedly improved their practice?

Right? Good pens are a game changer. I switched to a specific brand of fineliner and now my weekly spreads take half the time.

Wait, isn't it more about the paper sometimes? I've had fineliners that bled right through cheaper notebook pages. A good pen is great, but if the paper can't handle it, you just get a messy blob. That smooth finish on nicer paper makes the ink flow right.
