Finally hit my 500th dovetail joint and it still took me 3 tries to get the spacing right
I started counting a few years ago just for fun, and 500 felt like a big milestone until I messed up the pins on a cherry nightstand drawer last week. Has anyone else tracked a specific number of cuts or joints and found it changed how you approach things?

Oh man, isn't it wild how hitting a milestone just makes you notice the mistakes more? I did the same thing with my first 100 box joints and then bungled a whole batch of oak drawers. It kinda made me slow down and double check my layout marks every time now.

That 100 mark always seems to be the cursed number for me too.
