My mentor in Akron said never trust a plywood order sight unseen, and it cost me $600 to learn he was right
Back in the 90s I was doing kitchen cabs for a guy in Akron and he always opened every sheet before signing the delivery slip, which I thought was a waste of time. Last spring I took a big order without checking it and half the sheets had voids and warped edges, so I ate $600 replacing them on my own dime. Anyone else got a rule like that they picked up from an old timer that still holds up?
