Pro tip: That hardware store in Akron got me with mislabeled drawer slides
Bought a batch of undermount slides marked as 22-inch but they were actually 21-inch and now I gotta redo three drawers from last weekend. Anyone else run into bait-and-switch labeling at big box stores?

Oh man, that's rough. Mislabeled stuff drives me nuts. But I gotta say, undermount slides are usually measured by the actual slide length, not the drawer size. So if they're 21 inches, they might be meant for a 20-inch drawer box, not a 22-inch one. It's a common mistake, I've done it myself. Hope you can swap them out without too much hassle.

Ugh, right? It's like they're speaking a different language with these measurements. I swear I've bought the wrong size slides at least three times and each time I convince myself I finally understand the system. At this point I just bring a tape measure to the hardware store and test everything on the floor before I buy it.

The tape measure trick is the only thing that's saved me too... I've got a drawer in my kitchen that's been through three different sets of slides because I keep misreading the spec sheets. Last time I just sat on the floor in the aisle at Home Depot with a ruler and a notepad like some kind of mad scientist.
