That time I used construction adhesive instead of wood glue on a face frame

I had this run of cabinet doors to hang last spring on a kitchen remodel over in Maplewood, and I was in a hurry. My wood glue bottle was almost empty and I grabbed the tube of construction adhesive by mistake. I squirted it on the joints of the face frame before I even realized what I did. Figured I'd just let it dry and see what happens. That stuff grabbed in like 5 minutes and the frame didn't budge a millimeter even after I put the doors on. I was shocked because I always thought you needed proper wood glue for anything structural. Now I'm wondering if I should switch over permanently for face frames or if I just got lucky with that one job. Has anybody else tried this and had it hold up long term?

Well, you basically discovered the gorilla tape of the glue world, so why not just glue everything with liquid nails from now on?

Yeah, I mean at this point why not just go all in and glue my coffee cup to the nightstand so I never lose it again. Liquid nails probably works great on dishes too, right? Maybe I can just glue my phone to my hand so I stop losing it in the couch cushions. Idk, seems like a solid life plan honestly.
