Hit 41 drop connections in one week and it finally clicked why I stopped counting after that

Last month I had a run of jobs where I stopped keeping score on drop connections, and when I checked my log at the end of the week I was at 41. Normally I run somewhere around 15 to 20 if I'm doing resi stuff, but this was a big apartment turnover over on the east side of town and the manager wanted all of them done before the weekend. The thing that shocked me wasn't the number, it was that my average per drop went DOWN from 52 minutes to about 38, mostly because I quit walking back to the truck every time I forgot a fitting. I did a full walk of the unit first and staged everything on a drop cloth in the hallway, then just worked the route. My knees are still mad at me but the checks cleared. Wondering if anyone else has seen their time drop like that once you stop making trips, or if I just got lucky with how those units were laid out?
