I finally admitted my cable comb was making my work look sloppy

I watched a video from a guy in Austin who said a messy bundle stresses out homeowners more than a slow install. My bundles looked like a rat's nest compared to his. What's your method for keeping things neat in a tight attic space?

Homeowners stress over that? They just want the wifi to work.

Ninar12, some folks really do stress over router placement.

I mean, I get it looks cleaner and all, but do homeowners really stress over a cable comb? I've done jobs where the bundles were a little messy and nobody said a word. They just wanted to know if the wifi worked in the backyard. Maybe it's just me but I feel like we overthink this stuff sometimes. The guy in Austin probably charges extra for that perfect look but honestly, as long as the signal is solid and nothing's gonna get snagged, I don't see why it has to be a work of art in an attic nobody sees.

Yeah that video was a real eye opener for me too. Always figured the speed was the main thing, but a clean bundle just looks way more professional. I use velcro ties and try to route everything along the joists now.
