Last week I ran 400 feet of coax through a crawlspace full of dead rats and rusty nails
Had to stop three times to vacuum up droppings and patch my gloves after poking through on a rusty nail, has anyone else dealt with rodent infested crawlspaces on a regular basis?

Tbh I used to crawl through anything without a second thought, but that changed my whole outlook real quick.

Did you find any nests or just scattered droppings? I ask because where there is that much activity there is usually a colony nearby, and that means you might have to deal with the actual entry points eventually. Crawling through that stuff is bad enough, but if you missed a nest you could be back in there in a few months.

Oh man that reminds me of what happened to my buddy Dave. He cleaned out a bunch of droppings in his attic, thought he was good, then a month later heard scratching and found a whole nest of babies he missed behind some insulation.
