Serious question, why do so many guys treat skipping the final signal check on an outlet as a time-saver?

You just create a callback later that takes twice as long to diagnose and fix.

But is it really a huge deal if you get lucky and it works fine?

Used to do that until it bit me.

After something bites you, @young.eric, you don't just forget it, you learn to avoid it.

Yeah abby_baker56 is right about learning to avoid what bites you. I read this thing about how the brain literally stores bad experiences stronger than good ones, its like a built-in warning system. Makes total sense why you'd steer clear of anything that caused real pain before. Kinda wild how that works on both a physical and mental level. Really does shape how you move through the world after.
