Stop blaming the drop amp for every weak signal issue

Spent last Tuesday on a job where the customer had 3 techs before me all swap out the same drop amp, turns out the real problem was a corroded ground block in the attic that took me 20 minutes to fix. Anybody else noticing the new guys skip checking bonding first and just throw hardware at it?
