Stopped at a new build in Greenville yesterday and walked away thinking different about attic pulls

I always thought running cable through the attic was the fastest way until I saw how they pre-drilled the top plates and used push rods from below. The foreman said they save about 45 minutes per drop doing it that way. Anybody tried this method and stuck with it?

Huh, 45 minutes seems like a stretch.

The part about 45 minutes being a stretch is EXACTLY what I was thinking. But tell me this - have you actually timed it yourself with a stopwatch or are you just guessing based on your own experience? Because I feel like people throw out numbers based on one random try and call it a fact. What's YOUR actual time when you do whatever it is you're talking about?
