Remember when you had to order a service manual for every new camera model?

Back in 2008, I'd wait two weeks for a printed manual for a Nikon D3 to ship from a supplier in New Jersey. Now, I just pull up the PDF on my tablet in the shop. It's way faster, but I do miss having all those books on the shelf. Anyone else still keep a few of the old paper manuals around for their favorites?

My buddy's darkroom flooded last year and he lost a whole shelf of Pentax manuals. He was more upset about that than the actual water damage. Said the PDFs just don't feel the same when you're trying to learn a camera. I get it, there was something about the physical book.
